Men’s Health

We recognize that men have gender-specific health issues and we are proud to have a strong team of male doctors with a special interest in men’s health available to address your specific concerns.

Health Assessments

Our GP’s can conduct thorough health assessments on any patients when required. Areas assessed will include both physical health and psychological health. The aim of an assessment is to initiate preventative health care or medical interventions as appropriate.
The following categories of health assessments may be undertaken by our doctors;

• Health assessment for people aged 45-49 years who are at risk of developing chronic disease
• Type 2 diabetes risk evaluation for people aged 40-49 years with a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes
• Health assessment for people aged 75 years and older
• Health assessment for people with an intellectual disability
• Health assessment for refugees and other humanitarian entrants
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are less than 15 years old
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who are aged 15 years and over but under the age of 55 years

Immunisations

We care about your mental well being. We work with a group of highly trained psychologists and psychiatrists. We use Telehealth to access specialist psychiatrist/ psychologist remotely. You can have highest quality of mental health care in the islands with out going mainland .
